Window to the Soul

Looking into the eyes of a newborn baby is one of the most renewing and reviving experiences! There is a verse from the Bible that I think is connected to this old proverb...

Matthew 6:22 (King James Version)
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

This little one exudes light and I could see it in every photo! What a privilege to do what I do!

Seems like yesterday...

....that this sweet little one was behind my lens the first time. She was 9 months old then, now going on three...AND with a new baby brother too! Look at those eyes...just as beautiful this time around!

My sweet niece was being her usual adorable self the other day, so of course I broke out the old camera. What a ham! She puts up her A-OK hand signal just as I'm starting to snap! Then she decides to throw her hands behind her head as if she's posing for a beach shot...or maybe she was bored with the whole thing??? Naaaaah...I think she's a natural!
