What Little Girls Are Made Of...

...sugar and spice AND snips and snails! These four little gals spent the week boating, swimming, fishing with the cast net, and pulling up the crab trap. They were full of spirit and spunk - exactly the combination for a fun photo shoot (not to mention how adorable they all were)! Thanks for the challenge girls!

And Love Makes Three

It is always fun to meet new people - one of the things I like most about my job. But when wonderful things (like babies) happen to people I know, well, that's just priceless. I met this sweet mommy & daddy-to-be a couple of years ago, through some mutual friends of ours. I am so glad now to be capturing such a monumental moment in their lives. Evidently she thought the pink dress was too plain and needed a few more accessories!!!

While Mom Was Out...

...I decided to do a little master bedroom makeover at her house. So after a lot of help from friends and ridiculously sore arm muscles (from hours of sanding furniture), I finally completed the room, only minutes before Mom arrived home. Here are the before and after photos. Gung ho to paint, the furniture was already pushed to the middle of the room in the before photos, but I think you can get an idea of what it looked like...

Daddies and their daughters....

...there is nothing like it. What a pair these two are! You can just feel the love immediately - instant connection. Such a beautiful sight looking through my lens! I heart these two!

I don't typically.....

...fight with my clients, but playing along was so much fun! This character-filled girl is the daughter of one of my dearest high school friends. With Dad behind the camera, she and I made faces of every emotion you could think of! I loved this one in particular, because we laughed so hard afterward!

Fun on the 4th

This sweet couple kept me rolling in laughter behind the camera. With a wedding planned for January, engagement photos were just one more thing on their to-do list.
